As a national provider of electronic toll collection services - electronic vignettes and route passes, and an official partner of RIA, the Intelligent Traffic Systems AD presents to the owners of heavy goods vehicles and buses an On-Board Unit that they will be able to use after the start of the toll collection system.
The TollPass On-Board Unit (TollPass OBU) is a solution for the companies in the transport industry that supply or transport passengers on a daily basis. The On-Board Unit, together with the toll registration and monitoring platform TollPass.bg provides a complete tolling solution.
The On-Board Unit TollPass OBU is certified for automatic tolling. Data transmission is performed in real time and automatically reports the fees due.
The TollPass On-Board Unit is convenient, accurate and secure. Advantages:
- it transmits in-real-time data via a mobile Internet connection which gives opportunity to owners of heavy goods vehicles and buses to have up-to-date information on their vehicles;
- power supply - directly from the vehicle lighter (12/24V), does not require specialized installation;
- menu in 8 languages, including Bulgarian, English, Turkish, Romanian, Greek, Serbian, German, Russian;
- through the device menu, the vehicle driver is able to change the data on the number of axles of the trailer, which is a requirement according to the Bulgarian legislation;
- TollPass OBU software is automatically updated (OTA - over the air);
- On the device display, drivers receive functional messages that give them information and feedback;
Until the official launch of the toll collecting system and the electronic tolling of vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, they need to purchase electronic vignettes. E-Vignettes can be paid in cash at over 7000 POS from the Intelligent Traffic Systems Affiliate Network or online at Vinetki.bg and TollPass.bg.
