Campers over 3.5 t will travel with vignettes in Bulgaria

With an amendment to the Roads Act published on 13.02.2024, all campers in category M1 regardless of their total technically permissible maximum mass will pay an electronic vignette.
Until now, campers in category M1 with a gross weight above 3.5 tonnes paid a toll fee, while those under 3.5 tonnes paid an electronic vignette.
TollPass reminds that when attaching a trailer, if the total technically permissible maximum mass of the combination exceeds 3.5 tonnes, an electronic vignette must also be purchased for the trailer, which can be of a different type – for example, if the camper has an annual vignette, a weekly vignette can be purchased for the trailer.
Customers of Tollpass and Vinetki.bg can monitor the validity of their vignettes on the platforms, and can also receive notifications when an annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly vignette is about to expire.
Customers whose campers are equipped with on-board units for automatic toll fee recording must request the return of the devices at support@tollpass.bg
